Welcome to the HUB for Commuters

by ga_bfoley on January 30, 2013

Welcome to the HUB!!

If you are wondering what the HUB for Commuters is, then you are in the right place. Over the break the Office for Commuter Services brought their great minds together and came up with a great way to create community and establish positive interactions in a safe and welcoming environment. Thus the HUB for Commuters was born! The grand re-opening is taking place today, January 30th. Come on over and find out what we are all about.

Where are we located? The HUB for Commuters is in Rondileau Campus Center in 005.

What can you do in the HUB? There will be programs happening from organization workshops to stress management. There’s also designated quiet hours for you to come and use our computer to do some research and finish that paper you were worried about. It is open from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday and will also be having a book club, focus groups, and other things for you to join and get involved.

Come on down and see what we are all about, meet some staff and maybe even create some new friends!

Want to host a program or start a group? Let us know what you would like to see in the HUB for Commuters by leaving us a comment  or following us on Facebook at theHubBSU and Twitter: @BSUCommutes

Rate My Professor

Before I picked my classes as an incoming freshman my friends that are older than me told me to use rate my professor because it was a useful resource. Being overwhelmed with picking classes I forgot to look on rate my professor. Boy do I regret not looking on the website. After I was partially through the semester I decided that I should check it out to see how accurate the ratings were. Truth be told, the ratings and comments were right on. When it was time to pick classes for second semester you bet I was using rate my professor. If you are not using rate my professor I highly recommend it.

Let us know how Rate My Professor worked for you by leaving a comment or contacting us through Twitter: @ BSUCommutes  and/or Facebook: BSU Commutes
